I am a massive convert to the sit down pee. I started doing it when my first kid was born mainly through exahaustion and being a good excuse to sit down.
Not surprising that Germans are number one, sandals and socks are not the best choice for a stand up whazz.

If I get up for a piss in the middle of the night, should be "when" really, I always sit. Type 2, so I always have a disturbed sleep wee or three

Watching my 4yo cackle while I shout 'IN the toilet, please buddy' and 'No, you only need to shake it when you've finished' makes me think this might be a good idea. He won't be told, though.
