Is the dial normally more like the first or the last pic? I like the textured finish but the first looks a bit shiny.
What type of replacement strap would I be needing to get?
-
• #74580
hard to say - I was trying to capture the light more to show off the texture in the first pic so does look quite shiny. it is probably closer to the 2nd; slightly matte due to the linen-esque dial
happy to throw in the original black (no brand) strap it came on. otherwise it just takes an 18mm strap which are very easy to source

Went and had a nosey today at the PRX Tissot while on my way back from a meeting.. I've always loved them to look at but really didn't like them when I tried them on. The case was just far too flat looking and I think it didn't suit my small wrists.. such a pity..

Is this the 35mm?

After a couple of enquiries last week when I said I might be I'm definitely selling my sbgp013 18 months old 9/10 condition full set plus a lovely Cordovan Navy Broad Street bespoke strap. I can't find any for sale second hand in the UK atm for pricing but rrp is £2450+£135 for the strap so I think £1500 is a pretty forum friendly price?

Not a fan of GS or even Seiko.
That is a fine example tho.

No, the 41mm.. 35mm was just too small..

i might be late to the party but Tudor Blackbay now comes with a NON fake rivetted bracelet. That took time...
Jubilee but still, looks much better in my opinion

Would love to say dibs, that is spectacular, but I am very poor at the moment.
It is a spectacular bargain. GLWS -

over hyped
lol
its only £600 (for the auto) where its nearest competitor is over a grand - show me, when the hype kicked in, where you could get one that wasnt +££££
I know you can get a Casio now, have you tried that?

I tried the 35mm on which looked very small and also still had the very flat case.. I had a 36mm vintage Omega for a while and it looked fine.. It is a pity as I love the look of it, just not on me I'm afraid.. Glad I actually tried one on before before I bought off ebay or the like..

I saw that and I'd like to go to one at some point. Just had an email about new drops from studio underdog and I was very pleasantly surprised at the price although the flippers are already trying their luck with these and the watermelon being the only real novelty in the collection

Really liked the graduated lume on the pink lemondade - not sure about the daytime colours for everyday though. The blue/orange was nice too…

I love the look of the PRX but the 41mm is way too big and flat on my wrist. I bought and returned the smaller one - the fit was much better but the dial looks really cramped and it just felt a bit flimsy and light compared to my other watches.

I also like the lemonade three hander but there's something a bit contrived about it IMO.
This is dreamy..

The seagull movement isn't a great selling point is it?
I'm sure it depends on the implementation, but I got a 1963 Seagull which was nice for the couple of months it last till it broke from barely any use.

• #74597
Such a pity as it's a great looking watch with plenty of fantastic looking dials..
-
• #74598
I just thought they looked nice and hadn't seen the specs. I've no experience with a seagull movement I guess it's the same one as they use in those cheap Red Star chronos? A Miyota or Seiko movement would probably be preferred by many but add another 10% to the £500 rrp?

I might be the odd one out on here but I’m really not a fan of these. I don’t think the finishing is that good and they’re a homage of an Royal Oak but just not a very good one

So the BB58 has sold but thinking that I am not sure if I would wear my Moonswatch in the water.
So what digital style watch out there that I could wear for holiday etc, not wanting a connected watch as work from home and so the watch wouldn’t be worn all the time.
Battery life would be good point to have so not on charge or hardly at all.
I like the look of Casio g shock Gbd 200 but not sure I like any g shock straps. So just wondering on options
Thanks
That's the shit.
Lovely wear and tear on the bezel, really makes it.
Hope you resurrect it.
