Price drop: Condor Baracchi 531 lugless frameset includes Campag NR headset

In very good condition...has some patina as you expect from a frame that is over 50 years old....it has to my mind the most beautiful seat cluster.

Its serial number is 7272 (rear LH drop out) and stamped on the fork column too....drop outs are by Zeus (Spanish).

From my research and discussion with Condor the likely builder of the frame was Tom Board.

The frame includes a Campag NR headset that is in excellent condition...it is lugless and was a TT frame and according to Condor it took an extra 6 months to build...the head tube decal is made of metal with 90 Grays Inn Road...the first shop Condor had in Grays Inn Road...their current shop is the 3rd location in the road.

It is meant to have a single chain set ..no gear boss or drinks cage boss (but I have included a Velo Orange drinks cage fitting...this can be removed)...I used a 10s bar end shifter and I can include that with the frame...no dings or dents.

I can either post as I have a suitable box or deliver in central London...weekday to either Kings Cross, Farringdon, Holborn, Blackfriars or London Bridge.

Goodness how long is the quill of that stem?

110mm…it was too long for me….now using 90mm…that one is sold….190mm high…Nitto Technomic Deluxe.

I can deliver the frame to Kings Cross, Farringdon and all stations to London Bridge.

Instead of a 49T chainring I can offer a 44T single chainring. .to go with the TA Cyclotourist cranks.

Very nice TT frame of the era, typical single bar end set up.

Posted to say the beautiful seat cluster design is known as Italienate and was a sign of top frame builder.

I think it was built by Tom Board... Can't be Vince Edwards as no V in the serial number....Bill Hurlow as far I am aware didn't build frames for Condor by 1972.
