35 F2 XC or a used 35 F1.4 or 23 F2 or if you want a zoom, the fujifilm 18-55mm kit lens or sigma 18-50mm for constant f/2.8

Thanks. I like the primes, but as the camera will be a mix of my own solo walks around town and family snaps, the kit lens sounds like it'll be a winner.
Does anyone know where I might be able to rent on to try? I don't quite have enough money to get one just yet, but also have my kids birthday party this Friday/Saturday so would need one to use and test at the same time.
