I was on the Bakerloo line the other evening, just outside Baker Street, when I saw a gentleman wearing a fabulous pyramid wire headgear. Perfectly at ease with himself, a full carriage of fellow travelers happily accepted this as normal behavior and continued their usual tube-eye-avoidance routine in silence. A quick search showed that the gentleman, Dominic, has been travelling the lines like this since 2006.
Only in (gloriously tolerant) London.
