Or Blender, if we're sticking to cheap, non-subscription, products.

Do I bleed the radiators with the heating on or off?
-
• #119030
Off is fine.

Why isn’t 5 live broadcast on FM?
-
• #119032
👍

• #119033
Because the BBC only have a set number of FM slots, and, as 5 Live has content that is 99% speech, they chose not to allocate one to it.

Sketch, model, render, rinse, repeat. This is just something I threw together for illustration a couple of years ago, obviously you can spend time refining it if you want to make it look more like a real finished object

Why are you bleeding the rads? If the system hasn't been touched it will be fine.

You don’t have a central heating system, do you?
-
• #119038
I have done it on and off in the past.

On is maybe easier as you can feel where the heat is/isn't so very obvious which need the most bleed.

I tried one last night when the heating was on the the valve just came off completely without anything happening. I think it's just new radiator time!

Do you mean you removed the air bleed completely and no water came out?
-
• #119042
Yep. It looked like nothing had snapped, there was a fine point on the end of the bleed screwy, but when I looked in the hole there wasnt really a hole there, I wondered if a valve had closed because it was hot.

What's the best vpn for Google TV? I didn't truly appreciate how great cbeebies was until I left blighty. Well that and I also want to watch the cricket world cup (stupid France and their indifference to the greatest sport on the planet).
I've used private internet access (which was dog shit) and nord VPN which was decent. Main thing for me is country selection by application.

I use Nord, servers frequently get blocked though by streaming services, but they always have quite a few in each country and you can usually find one that works

Do you know someone in the UK who can set up a VPN for you to access?
Most of the standard vpns get closed down I've found.

Anyone know of any deals/vouchers for the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea next week?
I always used to see loads of artist deals and stuff previously.
-
• #119047
I'll PM you a code from an artist's mailing list you can try

I was using Nord but it was so bloody slow over OpenVPN and they won't do Wireguard.
Now I have switched to Surfshark and so far it works for everything. I have an Asus Router with a London server as the VPN client and connect the TV to it. French TV (and Netflix/Prime) can still come through the Orange Livebox.I also pretend to be Belgian to watch the F1 for free. I do this through the Surfshark app on my Mac Mini over Orange fibre, which is also connected to the TV

Has anyone here converted a wahoo kickr core from QR to thru axle? What's the best kit/approach?

I’ve been using Surfshark for a few years and found it to be very good. Never managed to get iPlayer working when abroad though
I'd find it easier to create a 3D model in Fusion360 than a picture in Inkscape
