The A4 consulataion is still live (closing date 1st Oct). Worth looking at, as it involves building a new road where the old railway was (Brislington Greenway, where there was hope of a new bike path similar to the Bristol-Bath one). Bristol cycling campaign have tentitively supported it, more info here: https://www.bristolcycling.org.uk/chairmans-statement-a4-consultation-brislington-greenway/

Separate issue, but couldn't find a thread for this specifically...
The Concorde Way - it's apparently closed on 2 stretches. Can anyone point me to a map/ info on where exactly the current closures are. Trying to figure out some routes using as much of it as poss but can only find old articles with not much info

Quite a bitter pill, to support new road building in order to get a cycle lane.

Yes, for sure. Even stranger is the Labour transport councillor is now blaming the idea on the Greens so that he can argue the case for the mythical underground network https://www.bristol247.com/opinion/your-say/delivering-change-bristol-requires-politicians-bold/

My parents live in Saltford and they have all been letter bombed with stop the bus lane window posters. I have seen quite a few of them up already!

They're hardly putting any bus lanes in at Saltford anyway, and the ones they are putting in won't remove any car capacity as far as I can see. Weird what people get worked up about

Usual outrage on here!! I received a leaflet through the door, I expect some of these people just chucked them straight out.
Have your say:
