If you're at the top of the today page, you should be able to just drag down to refresh (this goes for most pages). The refresh behaviour was a bit wonky before but it should be rock solid now.

• #57
Yeah I figured that but it was a bit clunky. Maybe it's better now, I'll try

Posting a thread. You don't see the thread posted next screen, you get the empty boxes you stared with

Thanks @skydancer. Are you able to see what version of the app you're using, (should be visible on the "About" page)? The behaviour you describe was how versions 1.0.9 and earlier worked, but if you're having this issue in v1.0.10 then there's a problem.

Aok
It's the v1.0.9 -

Just updated

The lack of "New comment by ..." (rather than "new comment in a thread you watch") had me thinking there was a fresh comment I hadn't read in a thread, when it was in fact my comment.
Maybe could be just "@abc replied 11 min ago" ?
Also thanks :)

Without the subforum listed for each topic, seeing at a glance whether a topic named after a particular model of bike is a for sale thread, a current project or a wanted ad isn't possible. Not a major issue but its useful on the web

This is great feedback - thanks guys.
@Squaredisk - The blue dot should indicate whether you've viewed the update or not, but right now I'm aware that the blue dot does not actually disappear once you navigate back to the updates screen. You have to manually drag down to refresh the screen. I'm working on it.
@PhilDAS - I originally had these floating titlebars that came into view when you scroll up, and they could contain a lot more information, but unfortunately I had to temporarily replace them with fixed bar (in which I can't afford to take up much space). I intend to put the floating bars back in eventually. They is especially important for the Event threads where you'll want to review event details from wherever you are in the thread, without scrolling to the top every time.

Another thought. Posts with a single image embedded, you can't click to open the image, or pinch zoom or anything. You can only see it in situ in the post itself whereas posts with images attached, you can click to open and then zoom in.
Edit: it appears that vertical photos can be opened larger and landscape photos of certain sizes. -

How does the search function work. Wasn't a box to type search term on this page

Also look at how comment posting time is displayed

So, I've done all the work to get search working - I had to, because that's how the "Today" page works - it's just a search for activity in the last 24 hrs. And that's why the page says "Search " at the top instead of "Today"!
But I still need to do the UI work to make search work with anything other than hard-coded searches. It's pretty high on my list of priorities because I'm finding it very painful to load specific threads for testing purposes!

Very odd. No idea how that could be happening but I'll look into it
EDIT: I lied. I know exactly why it's happening. Fix incoming

Search is good. Like the filter buttons. Simple

So you can reply to your own thread. Can't do that on Microcosm don't think

Though that clogs up my following page

I just noticed that too. And I specifically put code in to stop that happening. It's all falling apart!!
I'm in Australia btw, so I just woke up
