Does anyone have a recommendation for Naples, I've arrived but don't really know what to do with myself

Any suggestions for rechargeable, battery powered, motion activated lights? I live down an alley that constantly gets used as a toilet. I reckon a light that pops on when someone whips their nob out/drops their pants might make them look elsewhere.

Pizza, ice cream, ferry to the islands?
Maybe give the volcanoes a miss:

Pompeii is great. I spent ~45 minutes in naples once and got masturbated at* twice by two different homeless men. Try and beat that?
*more likely was specifically targeted at my female friends, but still...

Herculanium is better than Pompeii.
Find a decent pizza place, and have buffalo mozzarella on the pizza.
Go to all the places that claimed to have invented the margarita pizza.
Go to casertta and the summer palace as star wars was filmed there

If you were older than 14 and with surroundied school girls, then it was a tourist thing.
Seems it is a thing in Paris, Rome and Naples as a way to solicit money to go away according to cousins kids who have travelled there.

Wander along Spaccanapoli, avoiding the kids doing wheelies on scooters. Busy most hours of the day and night

Now we're talking. If it keeps the neighbour's arsehole of a cat away as well, even better.

Recommended free alternative to Illustrator for something quite basic? Been asked to knock up a quick impression of a frame design.

Anyone got a suggestion for an affordable beginner's judo gi? Just passed an induction period at a local place and will need a gi from now on, but only for training once or twice a week, nothing for competitions right now.

Inkscape?

Is £30 affordable? Then it's Decathlon or even Marketplace.
-
• #119017
Inkscape is your best bet for free, Affinity Designer if you want a one-off price that's maybe a bit more usable (in my very non-professional opinion)
-
• #119018
Would second Affinity as an ex. Designer.

Thanks all, will give both a try.
Current design is based on Kvikk Lunsj packaging!

Can also recommend Herculaneum over Pompei, however both are good.
When i was in the area, i took a boat over to Capri, not the big tourist boat, but a small boat with only 6 of us on it, and did a tour around the island jumping off at various points and swimming to/through the various grottos. That was pretty cool, however watch out for jellyfish!

Try and beat that?
I see what you did there...

There is a place in England (not Ireland) called Ulster. Is is somewhere from the Midlands down and not in the SW.
IDK if it is spelt "Ulster" (in fact I'm sure it's not), but it's pronounced all-ster.
Can anyone tell me where it is? Or what the proper name is.
If I was to give my best guest I'd say it's in Bucks.
Cheers!

Do you mean ‘Alcester’?
(edit: nw of Stratford-upon-Avon)

For some reason I didn't even consider Decathlon, cheers; I forget just how many sports they cover!

• #119025
Yes I do!
Cheers
Yeah - followed the instructions, I couldn’t get them over the admittedly bulky north wave shoes I’ve just picked up. Feels like it would take about 15 minutes to get them on without destroying them.
