Inkscape is your best bet for free, Affinity Designer if you want a one-off price that's maybe a bit more usable (in my very non-professional opinion)

Been asked to knock up a quick impression of a frame design.
I'd find it easier to create a 3D model in Fusion360 than a picture in Inkscape
