Looking to swap the daily (skx013) for something a little more refined. I have a Nomos Metro Gangreserve but it’s a bit dressy. Does anyone have experience with the Club?

A bit too much white. I get now the point made earlier about legibility. At a glance sometimes it gets harder to read.

White? Where?

Got a smaller Club (the 701) and wear it daily. Nomos leather straps are great. But the ‘posh’ fabric straps are even better, dressier than a nato and just as comfy. Nomos buckles are really nice too (really nice shape and finish) and both are well worth the price.

My advice would be, get a display back and don’t go too big, long lugs and thin cases/big dials make Nomos wear bigger than other brands in a similar size.

If you're talking re my watch, the white hands and markings.

The thing that sometimes catches me out with my AnOrdains is the minute hand being wider than the hour hand. I'm so used to the opposite that regardless of the hand length I sometimes mix them up at first glance.

Right. I guess it's a mix of that and too much white (all hands and markers being white) and when I was glancing at it yesterday to read the time, I had to focus a bit longer than I'm used.
