I didn't loiter... not sure what the climax was.

why was Waterloo bridge shut today?

I just came to ask the same thing but based on double decker bus being parked up and a "police incident" I suspect something bad happened on that bus

I don't commute anymore so have to live vicariously through other people's commutes.
Props to the male rider in olde London towne who told my quite large and intimidating looking Serbian cycle buddy this morning that "Mate, I don’t mean anything bad but your bib shorts are almost transparent!"
My mate has a great sense of humour and couldn’t stop laughing.

Briefly followed a VCL rider like this yesterday. Upped my speed to spare my eyes.

Coming home I got dropped by a tractor, shit they can motor!

I pointed that out to a woman cycling once with much-more-transparent-than-she-must-have-realised (although maybe not...) leggings on - I figured she'd rather know, but have wondered ever since if it came across as more sinister and weird than helpful and well-intentioned!

Depends on how long you were following for before informing her...

• #31262
Ha, no following involved I promise!

Is it etiquette to ask for no visible unclean bum crack?

Took the day off on monday to go on a ride, swapped pedals to a different bike and naturally forgot to put them back on the commuter. Good start to the day

What waterproof bags are people using? My Oxford Aqua rucksack has developed a few holes and needs replacing. I would ideally like something with a couple of pockets (internal or external) because I only have one tiny one at the moment that barely fits anything.

Shorts and short sleeves today and I'm still sweating. It's the 11th of October!

"Mate, I don’t mean anything bad but your bib shorts are almost transparent!"
I was briefly cyling behind and old boy a year or so ago and his bib shorts were near enough transparent. Didn't say owt, though.

Was today "bring your car to work day"? Haven't seen that much traffic in a long time. Is it because of bed bugs on the tube?

Took mudguards to work to fit before the weather turned > got covid, mudguards at work, bike at home > weather turned > soaking arse on the way in this morning. Still, nice to be back on the bike I suppose.

Mudguards stay on my commuter all year round

That only works when you ride the commuter bike in and don’t think I’ll just sneak in another day on one of the other bikes, and then think it’s a great idea to put in a quick extra 20 miles. Yeah I got soaked to the bone tonight.

On a day of a national train strike.
(I know a few trains are still running...)
