Was a single set on eBay

They're the same as these, just rebranded for a different market:

Jesus!
I'm out.

Facom's pricey indeed. But apparently no longer made in France (not all of their range at least), which is annoying.

The Abbey T-handle impresses me each time I use it, it’s just a lovely thing.

It does look beautiful, and I want one purely because of that. What I think would irritate me quickly is needing to swap the bits from one end to the other, going from driving a bolt in to tightening up. It feels like it's made a one-handed process into a two-handed process. Absolutely understand it in terms of minimising tool space though, that's clever

Just found this at a Home Depot clearance table for $10. CDI/Snap-On and calibrated!

Don't look at the UK snap-on prices

Bizarrely they resell a barco scraper - great scraper but fundamental design problem of the head being a soft compound and the screw holding the carbide blade on being hard, easily threaded - grease it

And don't pay that much for it...
I need a parrot on my shoulder the repeats "don't do that, don't do that" with the occasional 'you don't need that' -

I’ve only ever regretted buying crap tools, never good ones.

I have a cart full of Snap-On my dad bought in the 60s and 70s.
It still works and looks great. -

I don't for a second doubt the snap-on aren't excellent [or the best] but from a brief look their pliers were £60-£100* , I can't think of anyone who has pliers as daily most used tool.. & you're right 2+ generations of use dose make me think that's alright
.* I think that's $80-$120 usd and don't know how that compares -

Surely pillars = Knipex
-
• #891
Yes, though I rate my NWS ones slightly higher than my Knipex ones. The surfaces on the pliers don’t rust because they’re coated and the side cutters are significantly harder. Would recommend 👍

Haha, yes, I was using them as a barometer of 'so how much are these?', which seemed to escalate to just how much would someone pay
-
• #893
I like the shape of Knipex handles. How comfortable something feels in your hand is important if you use a tool a lot.

Is it a microphone or a battery powered boyfriend or some sort of tool? Suspense is killing me

Magic wand. Tactical edition.
It comes with a glass breaker at the other end and a built in bottle opener.

Vessel? Is this for the rotor bolts?
-
• #899
Certainly looks like the Vessel one. Quite low torque limits it looks like.

4Nm, beautifully made and made short work of putting the rotors back on my enduro bike wheels.
