They’re just quick release spring bars they should just slide out . Or rip out with pliers and replace with normal spring bars of the same size?
-
• #74478
No they don't just slide out.
They have two extensions (?) perpendicular to the bar itself, so that you can pinch them with your fingers. Very helpful but it prevents the bars from slipping out. There must be a way to remove them somehow but I don't see it, unless they are screwed on?

Ah I see now from my own pic that they are!!
Look at the grove on the head.

Also, I'm impressed at the amount of details a phone camera can pick up nowadays

Breitling used one on my aerospace’s bracelet in their store once. It did a fantastic job. Wouldn’t put a fully assembled watch head in there but also don’t think that it’d ever be thaaaaaat dirty that you’d need to put one in there.

Yeah I'd only be using for bracelets. I'd read some stuff about them possibly loosening stone settings in rings but it's my wife who really wants one. I'll stick it on her Christmas list and fill it full of filthy watch parts.
@Tenderloin @The.Gren Thanks chaps, is there a go to model or just a generic £50 job?

On this thread? Anything recommended will cost thousands!

The electronics are prone to breaking, so get one that you can return easily.
Don't froget that these things have a "duty cycle" where they need to cool down, so let it rest.

I had one decades ago for cleaning carburettors but I think it shit the bed and got tossed. Seems you get industrial looking ones or ‘kitchen worktop friendly’ looking ones which are twice the price.

I just ordered one from aliexpress for £30 - Xiaomi one. Seemed the same as most of the ones that cost twice that elsewhere

Great watch. Are the hands white?
-
• #74491
I had the hands changed to white cos the silver ones were almost invisible in some lights .

• #74492
Ah, was surprised as never saw it like this. Makes sense and is definitely funky, you should have gone one step further and made the seconds red!

Bump (Sorry).
Anyone interested? City Bravur in 35mm. Manual winding and ticks along nicely. Nice patina.

Yikes, bracelet isn’t doing that any favours. Could do with dropping the rrp a grand too I reckon, nice though.

The bracelet on them is a bit of a bummer, yeah, and unfortunately it kind of compromises the whole watch because they changed the 44GS case to accommodate a curved end link. That's with all their "44GS" cases now though.
That's why I want an SBGW047 so badly. The only real modern 44GS.

Anyone knows how to remove these "adapters" from the Baltic beads of rice bracelet? Wanted to try it on a different watch.
