Much stiffer braking, less squealing (or the tiny bit there is is in a higher register I'm assuming due to the stiffness).
The magura pads have a thinner metal backing and the tabs have a tighter bend so the pads sit in nicely, not sticking out like the off brand ones which meant you could barely get the second pad in.
