My wing mirror looks like this and has done for 4 years or so, we used to regularly get them kicked off so I never bothered to get it properly repaired. The electric, mirror-angling part works fine, but my wife is now complaining how much of our car is held together with gaffer tape. Is there some sort of transparent heat shrinking wrap which would do a similar/better job and look less bad. This stuff, perhaps? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/361275492238?
