• Does anyone use an ultrasonic cleaner for watch bits and jewellery?

  • My wife does for jewellery, glasses etc not watches though

  • Yes, great for removing sweat from watch bracelets, just think of it as a mini dishwasher. I typically use washing up liquid, or (for tough stuff like bike parts) white spirit. It's best to remove any thick stuff with a toothbrush first,as the non-industrial cleaners are not powerful, but they reach palces that a toothbrush can't.

  • Breitling used one on my aerospace’s bracelet in their store once. It did a fantastic job. Wouldn’t put a fully assembled watch head in there but also don’t think that it’d ever be thaaaaaat dirty that you’d need to put one in there.

  • Useful for straps, buckles, etc.
