Those crank arms are very rotor-a-like, though not at the arm - axle join. what’s the spider-axle interface?

• #11303
Think they meant "peak of cycling" but when yer powermeters are this cheap translations are an unnecessary expense

Splined with a lockring that tightens with a BB spanner and an adapter that's included in the box. Just noticed the Loctite there in the threads and on the left hand crank tension bolt.
Even the pre-load bolt has a little rubber O ring in the threads to add a bit of friction too with some spares

yeah that looks like rotor 3d 24 interface, you are a brave man for using aliexpress cranks

i do have 3d24 cranks unused in the shed ..

Looks good!
I might be interested, but it looks like it won't work with chainrings smaller than 34T, if its 110BCD, is that right? I've only looked at the Shimano option. -

They're CE marked, these aren't Paul Components rip offs.

Are the arms marked as well as the spider? I’ve been considering them.

Its on the box for the whole system and even Shimano don't CE mark the actual cranks

ahem. Hope they don't end up with a recall.

They're CE marked
Given how much the Chinese rampantly disregard IP, what makes you confident that the certification is valid?
-
• #11314
The FCC certification for the PM is on the FCC website so they seem pretty legit, and they say they are OEMs for Decathlon

seem pretty legit
Worth bearing in mind that cycle components do not have to be CE marked, so the CE mark on your power meter is only covering the same ground as the FCC mark, for electromagnetic compatibility. It does not indicate any particular quality, and doesn't confirm that it has met the testing requirements of EN14781 which apply to complete bicycles. They seem to have thrown a decent amount of metal at the problem with no truly moronic design features (cf. Ingrid), so I don't wish to worry you unduly, but the CE mark doesn't mean what you think it does.

I wasn't thinking the CE covered the mechanical bits, more that it showed an intent to comply with some bits of global safety regs at least. They'll probably spend alot of time on a turbo trainer in the near future.

EN 14781? That's been out of date for years, almost decades! ISO 4210:2023 is where it's at for regular bikes. Although I don't think the requirements for cranks have changed all that much.

Was just thinking these look identical to the Sigeyi power meter I have on my Rotors 3D 24s.

I've just ordered one. I was thinking of getting a new Stages or 4iiii to save having to swap my power meter between bikes, but at this price, it's worth a punt. Will be interesting to get L/R power - although I know the measurement of that is not straightforward.
Also, answering my own question, 34 is the smallest that it will take in Shimano rings but I could put my Absolute Black rings on it it I wanted to go to 30-46. I most likely won't use it for my best bike though, will be good to try it out on the turbo first, when it shows up!

I got another interesting light, it's like those mental light bars but with a shaped light beam and
cut off so it doesn't blind oncoming traffic.
Just testing it indoors and it's brighter than anything else I have.

Chinese Lumen
To be fair, everybody quotes gross chip output rather than lumens on target. 1200lm per chip is perfectly feasible in that package size, although I'd like to see how long you can run in that hard before the thermal protection cuts in.

It can work as a power bank if you remember to carry the usb c to usb adapter.
Don't know about the currency, aliexpress links always default to some strange setting, mine usually sets me to Afghanistan when I click on a link even thought I am signed in.
I paid around £24 with the fees.
These started as P505 spider only powermeters which have lots of options but this is their first Shimano 24mm compatible set up.
