Where to donate old bike parts?

Heya, I've got a bunch of old bike parts I want to drop off somewhere.
Is there a thread with places to do that?

Was thinking about heading to The Bike Project in Camberwell this weekend, but I can’t find a contact for them. I know some people here are connected (maybe @thrasher ?) so wondering if anyone knew.

Would they be interested in me turning up with a box of bits?
Any other suggestions for places to do that?

It's not useless stuff (stems, mudguards, rack, brakes, etc) but I’m just not going to use it.
And I'd rather just take a box somewhere if it would be useful to someone else.

Hello! Are you still taking donations? Next Wednesday 20th in Camberwell? I've got a box of bike parts from my old bike.

Yes they'll be more than happy to take parts in of any sorts. their refurbishment process relys on mixed new and 2nd hand parts. they'll scrap whats not usefull or safe to use. walk in straing to one of their sites.

This guy is amazing and does great work all by himself and on a shoestring budget.

A couple of things he always needs are grips and bar end bungs. So if you’re ever about to bin some of these or you’ve accumulated a whole pot full from each time you’ve retaped your bars feel free to pm him for an address and send them his way.
