• I've always said the only bike to replace my adored Mk4 would be a Jones Spaceframe, and one's come up. I'm listing this incase there was anyone interested while the Jones is available. If the Jones sells, this ad will be pulled!

It's a Stooge MK4, well used with a few scratches and bag-rubs. I've used this every week for about 3 years, all weathers - it's absolutely wonderful.

For anyone wondering how capable these actually are, even without a dropper I have taken this down every trail which I took my Orange Five down, including some proper steep technical stuff. Granted you can't go quite as fast, but it's quite remarkable what you can get down on it, it's also great fun in the flow trails too as you can really pump it around. With a dropper on it, I'd have no hesitation doing up to 4ft drops on it. Much beyond that my wrists start to complain!

    Spec is:
Frame and Forks: Stooge Mk4 (blue)
Wheels: 27.5 Enve M70 to Chris King ISO hubs (black)
Tyres: Maxxis Rekon+ front and rear (also can include Nobby Nic 3.0/2.8 pair too)
Brakes: Hope X4 (Gold levers), Hope Floating Rotors (Gold 183/203)
    Bars: Enve RSR
    Stem: Burgtec 35mm
    Headset: Hope (Gold)
    BB: Shimano Saint (Gold)
Crankset: Shimano XT 175mm (with Gold Burgtec preload cap) Hope 32t Chainring
    Cog: Boone Ti 20t
    Seatpost: Enve Layback 30.9
    Saddle: Fizik Tundra 2
Bag: Revelate Jerry Can (I think)

Asking £2.5k ONO to cover the cost of the Spaceframe. Can be posted, but based in SW Devon.

  • Change of plan. Rode this last night and decided I'd be an idiot to let it go, and pretty convinced a Jones wouldn't get me down the steep switchbacks like this can. Thread closed, bike kept.
