Picked one up at the weekend (e87 130i), quite surprised by the way it delivers the performance, it’s on par with my 986 Boxster.
Decent factory spec, full leather, heated seats, pro Idrive & xenon’s. With the addiction of some nice enhancements:-
Upgraded discs, pads & fluid
Progressive Lsd
Bc racing coilovers (BR series)
Rear k brace
M3 lower control arms
skullandbiscuits

Yes, I had one for 4 years until ~2014.
Great engine, premium feel in higher spec versions, non-run flats improve ride and grip immensely, big enough for 2 people, nothing went wrong.
Ride is stiff, would benefit from upgraded suspension. They’re now quite old so are going to have worn parts if it hasn’t been looked after properly. Fairly small, especially if you regularly have rear seat passengers.
