This is a really nice painting. Where the light hits the legs is very pleasing.
I’ve made some small progress on this but will need to go over it again. I’m not sure how I thought green was the right way to go with the skin shading. I was sat down with a colleague is very good at oils and she gave me some tips for the skin tones and shadows. So will have another go soon.

Yeah as others have said, you’ve handled the light really nicely in this.
Considering it’s an homage, you’ve made it your own.
