I’ve been wringing my hands reading your comments, and as I said to @stelfox and @BareNecessities in a dm, I have been overwhelmed emotionally with the generosity and and community seen here. As I often am.

Your offers of helping with parts are really very generous and much appreciated, although entirely unexpected.

I wanted To highlight, for my own conscience, as I’m sure you feel with your own personal projects, be it bikes or hobbies, I’ve really reached the cap I can spend on this for the foreseeable, and I think I’d have a bit of a mental resentment to the thing if I kept spending on it at the moment. the only repayment I can offer is some stickers, a cup of tea at a badgers ride and a “go on it” when it’s built up, if you’re ok with that I will accept parts offered, but I want everyone offering parts to be in sound mind and body doing so.

I think if I eventually get the insurance money back from the courier (£100 (which still got taxed £44! By the danish!)) it will likely get donated to the forum as a sort of salut for the collective generosity and ensure it can happen to someone else in the future.

Stelfox has kindly offered me a mech and shifter for the bike, and I have some parts which were not sold off from when I thought I’d never need a bike part again.

In terms of what is missing from my parts bin remains and was in that box I it’s;

1/1 8th external headset
Hollow tech cranks that fit a 30t or lower chainring
400mm in-line seat post
Disc rotors (180/160)
Hydraulic brakes (levers and callipers)
26” wheels in 12mm ta front and rear (non boost)
(Or rims and hubs)
Flat pedals
Saddle

I think this is everything, and as I say, do not feel obliged, it will eventually get built.

I’m still sick atm so if I’m slow at replying apologies, we’ll see what happens when the bike is on plague island and take it from there.

Again, to those who have offered parts and those who have not thank you, I hope you find this kindness mirrored to you when you find yourself needing it, whether you know it or not.

I have rotors (your new 180 and one used 160 for the rear) and brakes although not very nice stuff but in great condition Tektro Auriga Pro.

I've got a Fabric Scoop Radius Saddle and some rotors (180 avid I think) going spare you're welcome to.

I've probably got some horribly spiky dmr pedals in the cellar you can have. If this was singlespeedable I've got some stupid wide 26 wheels you could have on long term loan but it sounds like it's full gears?

Got a set of Deore XT M770 cranks (silver, 175mm) that can be sent your way. DM coming.

i'll have a look in the shed tomorrow and see if i have any bits that haven't already been pledged.

Urghh thats horrible. I was popping back on here now and again to keep up with this build and Hulsroys thread. I have a few bits and bobs can send you;

Various 104 chainrings for the M770s (Maybe Chain as well)
10 speed Deore shifter & mech, cable & SP41 outer
Pair of new SRAM Level T brakes (one lever is leaking, anyone any good at rebuilding them, actually can probably warranty them?)
All of it brand new & unfitted
Other stuff as well

I have a set of Shimano Deore BR-M6000 + BL-T6000 hydraulic brakes and levers I can throw in. I think one of the levers has some scratches but they work perfectly fine. I can post directly to Mads without import tax hassle.

I have parts for the show (from my own bikes) ready so we are just looking for stuff for Maj to build the frame up back in London. But if they can be with me before Wednesday evening next week then I can use them on the show bike and then they ca. Go back to London with the frame

I’ve got these Clarks hydraulics if of any use? They will sit in my garage for the rest of time otherwise.

What diameter seatpost you need?

Have a 34.9 Thomson seatpost clamp and silver seatpost 31.6 x 410.

Also some decent Reverse flat bars that are surplus if you need.

Flat pedals - @atk very spikey dmr sounds perfect for the bike and will surely toughen up my shins

Saddle - @RonnieOatmilk that's super kind, thank you, a fabric scoop would be perfect

as for what i have left i actually have a nitto stem i for some reason never sold, and some black magic components worm bars, cables and tyres i forgot to put in the box to hulsroy originally, i might also still have a thomson seatpost clamp i scavanged a while back. i also think i have some oury grips

then there is chains and casettes, and sorry to say it, inner tubes, which is down the road.

I can add a 11speed 11-42 shimano cassette and chain to that box with brakes if that helps.
