Actually think it looks better on some without the frame and better balanced at 6 for me. They made this change on the new Omega Aqua Terra and should have kept it without the frame as it looks way too claustrophobic in my opinion. Also makes the date it's self look smaller/cramped. Longines have some nice updates in their catalogue at the moment.

Why does no watch designer put the date at 3 with a frame around it anymore? Always those holes, preferably in really weird places.
