Shower toilets. Only a couple of weeks ago I watched the Southpark episode about Japanese toilets which actually insinuated that toilet roll is a massive environmental waste. In the USA people approximately get through 150 bog rolls per annum, one tree provides the bog roll for ten people’s annual use.
Now on holiday in France and two hotels we have stayed at feature shower toilets - ones with the built in arse washer, and one made by Toto also has a rather ineffectual bum dryer too.
Have also been enjoying the bidets in other establishments. At some point our current bathroom is due a refurb, a bidet had been discussed but now the option of a shower toilet makes more sense. Has anyone got experience of such devices? Where can we road test different models?
So far we have used ones from duravit and Toto but there are others on the market. The duravit didn’t have the blow dryer but had better reach adjustment on the sphincter sprayer so you could get it to hit the spot. 😄
The toto has things like a motion sensor so the lid gets raised on approach but to be honest that feels a little bit gimmicky and unnecessary.
I do find it very hard not to giggle when the spray is tickling my anus.
