Been a while since I've bought any kit but looking to get back on the bike. Any recommendations on both short sleeve and long sleeve jerseys? I'm after a tight rather than loose fit.
Around 73kg, 175cm tall with a 92cm chest if that helps (or anyone else is a similar build).

I am usually M in Rapha PT or Maap race cut stuff with 3kg extra right now, working on getting back to usual 69-72kg.
Which brings me to next question. I need some descent run about kit: before/after-work stuff, nothing fancy or spendy, just need to get the job done in relative comfort.

My brother got me the green and orange version of this for my birthday. Not sure it's 100% me but it is quite fun!

Nice present that's definitely the fun one. The whole collection seems to be selling out quicker than I can get the money together to buy it unfortunately

Where have all the nice packable jackets gone? Doesn't need to be waterproof or anything, just something I can shove in my back pocket.
I really like this https://www.rapha.cc/gb/en/shop/womens-rapha-ellen-paige-wind-jacket/product/AFW01XX but OOS in larger sizes.

More on the casual end of the riding spectrum, a Patagonia Houdini?

Rab Windveil, but get something cycling specific with longer arms and tail if its predominantly for on-bike. Rapha Explore jackets look pretty good.

Late to the party, but if anyone is after decent white socks cheap - these are my go to.

€800 for a brown skinsuit with integrated pants. It does say insane and I would agree

You can charge triathletes whatever you want, there'll be some suckers out there with the cash.

What would be the best Swrve trousers for commuting in from October to March? Could add long johns for when it gets really cold. I know Rapha also has their technical trousers but don't know how they compare, I've always been happy with Swrve stuff.

The US store has a good summary page for the fabrics and use https://swrve.us/collections/trousers
I'm personally OK with something like the Rapha trail light in deepest London winter and would lean toward the transverse. -

Any reason why the adverts for Paria start, "Mate, ride into Autumn with blah blah"?

Anyone got a good link for knee/leg warmers that come in a range of colours?

Not sure if it can be considered stylish at that price point but the Van Rysel winter jacket is brilliant.
It works great in the current weather with temperatures close to 0° with one base layer.
Much prefer it to the recent Gore infinium nonsense and it has as many pockets as Batman's
utility belt.
The images show SBS zips but mine came with YKK. I don't think there is anything that comes
even close on Aliexpress in quality or price.

Softshell mtb/urban/grvl/alt road hoodie/jersey, athletic fit, useful in ~5-10 degrees, wearable with trousers - no roadie crop top stuff. Bonus points for 2 way zip.
Ideas?

7mesh chilco - not full length zip though.
TBH what you want is the overland mountain jersey but I don’t think there’s any left out there

Maap makes a (hardshell?) Hood thing but zip only halfway. And a hoodie with zip with some kind of dwr treatment that looks quite good.

Some decent suggestions, found the MAAP hoodie but only white left, that ain’t gonna last.
Arcteryx Atom SL is near perfect, maybe a little warm pushing on around 5 degrees but got a bright colour from their outlet that spray and mud would destroy. Not sure if Arcteryx do a thin softshell, but the latest prices are wow.
Thinking a Patagonia Dirt Roamer ticks most of the boxes.

I'm about to order some custom kit from Apex. How's the sizing on those jerseys? I think we're getting that jersey type ("elite", they call it). And any thoughts on overall quality?
Saw a guy on Kingsway yesterday fully kitted out in that Attaquer / Kappa gear. Looked pretty nice, tbf - his was much more bright colours, orange and white stuff.
