If I was on my own, I think it would have been tough but I've had a lot of support and it's actually been great in the end.
The house and job move I knew were coming, I just could have done without needing my collar bone plating. 3 months on and I'm still not able to do much more than carry shopping with my right arm but I'm getting there. Taking a month or so between jobs has been so refreshing and I'm really fortunate to be in a position to be able to do that.
Everything is sweet man, thanks for asking. I've moved out to the countryside and I've been enjoying the quiet, the walks in the woods, a bit of running (the horror) and I'm building up a fancy carbon bike for getting back on the road.
We'll be moving house again in the new year so hopefully I'll get a garage or something. I've brought all my tools with me so hope to do some of my own building and hobbies with my new found headspace and free time 😊
