15 is going through some issues right now - overheating, NFC chip dying on wireless chargers. I would either wait for that to resolve or go 14 pro

Apparently overheating is software related (at least Apple have acknowledged they're working on an update) but the NFC chip thing appears to be certain cars (BMW & Mini) Qi chargers / overheating on other chargers that's killing the chip. That seems like a production design fault to me.
