Really glad I didn’t try and get tickets to that game
I was thinking this last night but watching Trevor L in the flesh dodge a sack, get flattened and still float a touchdown pass through the eye of a needle all in the same play was worth the price of admission.
I’m always happy when Atlanta lose, but unfortunately the Saints are playing almost as bad as them.

Ooh. I can see myself in your photo. Our seats were practically across from each other

Also. C J Stroud is exceeding my wildest expectations. With Tank Dell, Anderson, To'oto'o and Juice Scruggins, our draft this year has been pretty damn outstanding.

OK. 1/4 of the way through the season now. Let's check on my predictions for division winner
AFC East - Bills
AFC North - Ravens
AFC South - Jags
AFC West - ChiefsNFC East - Eagles
NFC North- Lions
NFC South - Atlanta
NFC West - 49ersFeeling smug about that TBH.
Ravens looking like a smart call with the AFC North a bit of an unexpected disaster division. The Steelers and Bengals offenses look bleak.
Hoping Atlanta ends the Ridder experiment or the Bucs will take the NFC South. The Panthers are not a threat and Carr is the AFC's Kirk Cousins.
(NOTE: Garoppolo cannot be the AFC's Kirk Cousins. He's had too much playoff success)

If Carr had as good a season this year as Cousins had last year us Saints fans would be delighted.
Atlanta are a one rookie team, it’s too much on one pair of shoulders, I think they’ll fall short.
-
• #1807
I think you'll get this year's Kirk Cousins out of Carr. Not ideal.

Feeling pretty optimistic this year, got some really good duos going on. Witherspoon/Woollen, Brooks/Wagner, Metcalf/Lockett etc.
I'm still not sold on Gino though.

Curious as to why. He's an above average starter - top half of NFL starters, he's better than Russ right now, he runs the offense efficiently, doesn't lose you games.

Just been told I'm seeing Ravens v Titans, got super excited that it was Bills v Jaguars and the chance to see Josh Allen live. But, seeing Lamar live is just as good I think. Also I can ride to and from the stadium without too much stress..

Curious as to why.
I can't really put my finger on it tbh. Just doesnt have that 'pop'.
Think the team is shaping up so well, that he's the weak point, as silly as that sounds.

Nah Geno is the strong point. Coach finally has a QB who will defer to the run first offense, will take a deep shot when it's available and won't be careless/reckless with the ball. Defense is heading back to legion of boom status (it hasn't even been close to decent for a half decade at least) and so Seahawks with their young players on the defensive side of the ball suddenly look frisky again.
Pete's got the kind of team he loves working with and Geno (cost controlled, happy to be a starter and doing a decent job at it), is major reason for it, see also the picks and young players they got from trading Russ. -

Ben solak with the breakdown of why Bryce young isn’t putting up the numbers or garnering the pundit love, and why Carolina shouldn’t be worried yet!

Not saying any of that's wrong, but hard to get excited about an 'above average' QB that doesn't have much flair imo.
Think we're a top tier QB away (and maybe some healing!) from another superbowl.

Jim McMahon
Jeff Hoestetler
Trent Dilfer
Brad Johnson
Joe Flacco
Nick FolesJust sayin.....

Did I mention Eli Manning?

• #1817
You had a top tier qb and he left because HC’s gameplay wouldn’t defer to his style of play, you’re probably not going to get a top tier QB unless you fluke another in the draft. Geno’s good enough to get you to a Super Bowl, he fits into about list provided by @Aroogah, but it depends on the team around him.
I don’t think Seattle has enough firepower to get out of the nfc, can’t see them turning over San Francisco or Dallas. -
• #1818
Geno is better than all of the above BTW, maybe equal to Manning.
-

I don’t think Seattle has enough firepower
Happy to disagree on Gino, but this is a wild statement.
Metcalf, Lockett, Walker and Fant. Smith Njigba granted hasn't looked as good as you'd hope, but Charbonnet looks good.
Got to be as good'a WR and RB duo as you'll see. If they had a better QB (and a healthy O line) they'd be almost unstoppable.
YMMV.

Apologies, careless use of the word firepower, I don’t think Seattle is as good a team overall, as both Dallas and San Francisco are, and the eagles who for some reason I forgot, and I don’t see them beating any of them in the playoffs.
Seattle play all of those teams back to back through November/December so we’ll see how they match up then.
49ers home
Cowboys away
49ers away
Eagles home -

Ah gotcha.
I'd like to disagree with you, but as optimistic as I am, I don't see 4 W's there..

Good video. This is why they talk about 'QB Mechanics' as such an important factor and why coaching is so important.

Hehe. DJ Moore put up 49 fantasy points last night, meaning I have a 94% chance of winning my matchup this week (up from 60%) and he was the only player to feature for either side.

Just seen the highlights and despite the loss, commanders look like despite the criticism
And the negative takes they have a quarterback in sam Howell, some of those throws he made, were “chefs kiss”.
Nice to see the bears get a win, fields needed some positive movement, really hoping the weight of expectation doesn’t crush his development. -

I would be completely remiss to fail to mention the passing of Bears great Dick Butkus.
#10 on the all time list #100 greatest NFL players. He was, and remains, the standard for middle linebackers.
They gave up too much to sign him - a 1st round pick.
Not sure Kap will play again. Josh Dobbs though won't be in Az next year. He might be an interesting option for the Falcons.
