I find the way that Apple actively hampers you working with pictures is achingly stupid, so maybe I'm missing something.
How do I fix this workflow:
I want to attach a photograph to a post, so I use the search function in photos to find it.
Then I go to the post, click Upload a file, navigate to the Photos option.
Now search isn't available, so I can't find the image.
Close Upload a file.
Go back to Photos, use search, screen grab the photo (creating a duplicate file on the desktop).
Back to Upload a file, locate the screen grab, upload that.
Delete the screen grab.
