Aren't they just local slate in frames?

It's a lovely house isn't it? Wish I had loads of spare cash

Why would someone sell a share of freehold flat with only 98 years on the lease? Isn’t it easy to extend that to 999 and make it more attractive?
Also if you were the estate agent and it was only 2 flats in the building, wouldn’t that be a key selling point?

In all honesty, I think you could just make those ‘paintings’ yourself, like they’ve probably done.

Because they don’t want to extend the lease themselves, this is often reflected in the price.
You also have to factor in the changes in the law that will remove marriage value that should be going through parliament next year.
Edit: Freehold not leasehold but still a few £k. -
• #59886
So someone could buy that, spend a few k in fees and have a fresh 999 year lease?

The house from the TV show sex education is up for sale:
Wish I had the money

That’s mental nice. Wales is a beautiful country too. Shame about all the Welsh.

The other freeholder may be a twat.
Or they are having to sell in a bit of a hurry. When I extended the lease in similar circumstances it took absolutely ages.

He's not replying to @jaitch but to @Tenderloin, who posted a house in Wales.

Gotcha. Think I was a little thrown by the casual xenophobia.
Wye Valley house is incredible though. I'd even tolerate other English people for that.

Bother, sorry

The Wesh are great. It's all the fucking rain that's the problem. If you're not from there you live your life with a permanent runny nose. I guess WFH and home shopping means you can get away with never leaving the house.
Unfortunately, there's a reason why on balance for all it's faults England is the best. Although it's cold and rainy at least it's not as rainy as Wales and not as cold as Scotland.

That house is lovely! I can confirm it rains a lot in Betws Y Coed though (and Wales generally).
Betws Y Coed is also where lots of English go on holiday so you have the rain AND cunty English people everywhere.

I bumped into Lee Mavers (The La's) a few times in the The Shakespeare Pub?
That is up there with the worst I've seen
