A comment on image handing - I wouldn't have known there was another image in the screenshots if I hadn't have bumped it slightly when scrolling.
I would suggest:
- a small UI element to indicate there are more images, and the direction you could scroll to see them (I'm thinking a small circle with an arrow)
- possible another dynamic element which tells you how many images there are

That's a really good catch. I like the idea of some kind of indicator.

Incidentally, have you tried out the other layout options?
