Pic of the old kitchen for reference. Always hated the L shape and how nothing was symmetrical. You’ll notice the cabinet with the hob sticking out from the rest of the worktop, which I assumed was for some structural reason but when I dismantled everything it was just empty space behind. Don’t know how many times I’ve banged my hip on that corner. I gave all of the old kitchen away BTW so it’s getting reused at some guys old mothers place.
