It doesn't just look like that, the first picture does also look quite a bit like a flat/office intercom, due to its orientation. What you see is often conditioned by what you expect and even if somebody knows about fight sticks (which are a bit of a niche thing in gaming), switch tabs and switch back again and maybe get a surprise.
