Sold!
I love this bike, it was my first proper racing bike and was later converted to a TT set up. I have not ridden it for several years and need the space in my garage.
It's pretty old, I guess coming up for 20 years. I think I bought it in around 2005 😬. It's hit the ground a few times but never been crashed into anything. The frame is scratched in places, I think the carbon seatstays and the alloy/carbon interfaces look OK.
It's got a virtual top tube length of approx 53cm. It fits me at 174cm and also my partner who is 168cm. The bike is set with her saddle height in the pics.
10s Campag (the pinnacle of all indexed shifting, its been downhill from here), a classic Dura Ace chainset and some Dia Compe brakes. Pro aerobar with Bontrager brake levers.
You can have it without wheels for £150, or with these Hope/Open Pros/GP5000s for £200.
It's cheap cos it's old, I've had more than my money's worth over the years. I'd like to think someone might buy this and have a go at time trialling next year....if you're really skint but really keen to try TTing...talk to me.
Collection from Crystal Palace please.
Sam
