  • What varieties are good for a smokey flavour? Not looking for crazy heat per se.
    @spinnnout I wouldn’t say no to some aji seeds as well if there’s any spare but don’t go out of your way for me.

    Next years varieties(because I love random eBay chilli sellers and can’t resist)
    Sugar rush peach - medium
    Habanero pink - hot
    Turkish snake - medium
    Tres longes - mild
    Mini yellow bell - sweet peppers

    I think I’m getting a bag of mixed super hot as well from one of the sellers.
    I’ll be offering up seedlings when the time comes as no doubt I’ll have way more than I need ;)

    You mean what varieties are suitable for smoking them yourself, or which taste "smokey" themselves?
    Regarding the former, classic jalapeños are good (as in: chipotle) - although to be frank I'd just look for ready made conditements, even the 'chipotle' Tabasco variant is pretty good I'd say.
    If the latter, I'm not sure.. would probably go for cayenne types ..
