What was wrong with the one you've chucked in the street? I thought they were indestructible (got a couple of them, I'll certainly die before anything goes wrong with them)

What's really annoying is the pelicase copy I bought is missing a hinge part. I've been through three different companies now who are all "we don't make it, it's from these guys" so tracking down spare parts is a ballache. Lesson learned in going with lesser known brands, I guess...
