Now I get the title. I think I prefer Slayer, soz.
Have you heard the 303 version of Reign in Blood? It's terrible but brilliant.

That OD.404 track has me baffled the studio address is almost opposite my work Discogs says last release was 2007 and I've been there since 03🤷‍♂️ just checked out that Reign in blood remix not the best of both worlds for me. This looks good 96-99 when hardcore got too cheesy I went full Gabber skinhead for a bit

Must have been there's always been a shop underneath. I hadn't heard of the label. Most of the local labels were based above record shops and most of those have closed down now

are you thinking of La by Marc Et Claude?

one of my all time favourite mixtapes. That mix from Bukem into Poing at the start is so good!
-
• #3935
Yes, that's the one. Moonman mix
-
• #3936
It's quality. So many other mixes/tapes from that era sound like shit, with shit MCs etc.

Easygroove did some great sets, I believe he became a crack head though sadly.
A girl I went to primary school with went out with him for a while and the MC sometimes shouts her name on some mixtapes.

I used to love Easygroove. Some original technodred sound with this

He used to play loads of the free parties locally because he lived down this way.
I am listening to the mix hippy posted at the moment but will check yours later

What's Sulfurex got to do with Easygroove? It was one of my favourite tracks back in the day that took me forever to find because people mislabelled it by someone else or something.
-
• #3941
Just posted it because Easygroove used to absolutely hammer that tune and I like it
EDIT:he plays it here at 23min
Easygroove style starts jungle, breaks, techno and bouncy hardcore all in an hour set

Ah, I see. I'm still trying to work out if Easygroove is a person, label, party... :D
But yeah, it's a sick track.

I always loved this

He's a DJ and used to be one of my favourites. Around 94 when hardcore Djs started going in Jungle or Techno directions he carried on playing everything all in same set then around 95 he got into crack and all the promoters dropped him for being unreliable and generally a nightmare to work with and that was the end of him pretty much. 93/94 he was one of the biggest names on the hardcore scene

And earlier than that. I remember it being a bit of a joke thing in our group about the 'groove' djs on every flyer alongside 12k sound systems, lasers, funfairs and DJ Sasha i.e. Grooverider, Easygroove,
Loftgroover etc -

That is really good, new to me

Me too it's before my time. I found it looking through early 90's Fantazia. Panning for gold

Having a bit of stompey / ravey / technoey morning…
From two hitters - Jens ("Loops & Tings") and Ramon Zenker of Hardfloor.
Reminds me of the gabber tunes I used to listen to with the guitar riff sample :)
