Yip. Happy to support MiUSA when I feel like I'm not getting fucked, but at that price, I'm getting fucked.

Did it shrink? Yes. Was I sad. Yes. But my Kamakura MiJapan oxford was $120 - pre covid - and its still that price...

Culturally speaking it’s big no no for JP brands to raise prices and there’s also the incredibly favourable exchange rate these days. A lot of international brands have still not adjusted their prices. 20% savings before the VAT refund is not to be sniffed at.
