I am thanks to Norbury Brook separating me from Thornton Heath Rec. The rec being very much not locked at night. Now built up with retaining wall and fence. The fence being privacy giving more than security as the gap on the neighbours side is still there. The main thing is I've not heard tell of anyone making the journey from rec to back garden before. Nor has my neighbour who has lived here for 25+ years.

I've moved into a house where the rear garden wall drops c. 4.0m directly to a small river that borders a park thats locked at night.
House is in a terrace with no access to rear gardens from the street at all for at least 20 houses in each direction.
I basically have a moat protecting my back garden and so I'm thinking the existing garden shed is actually going to be fine to store bikes for once? Have I not considered something?
Or should I just get an Asgard for the front anyway?
