Bootcamp if you have an older intel Mac. It's pretty much free to use if you have a windows license key.
Parallels is the user friendly VM. It's remarkably expensive now though. And you still need a windows license. IIRC anyway.

I had this recollection of the collective online response to using another OS always being "just set up a VM".
Idk what mac they have, but assume their main one is a new M1 and their other one would probably be an Intel.
