I do quite like the clicking sound though, and it acts as a useful early warning system that there’s someone who can’t/won’t stop coming up behind you.
I’ve often wondered is there a way that lime can harness the free riders? Have some kind of charging system so people can ride for free without the motor but they charge it up a little as they go? I imagine the dynamo would have minimal charging but no idea really.
