i don't actually hate these, i bet they're great fun to blast around on.
i think the one in the first pic is an older revision, the newer ones look a bit less clunky (better seat, battery placement etc.)motorbike thread, but the e-moto concept looks pretty cool to me as well...

It would be great to replace all motorbikes and scoters with electric versions, I wish those cunts with noisy exhausts would all ride into the fucking sea

Looks like there are three types tbf

I can get onboard with an electric motorbike with decent range, but I just don't see the point in having such a heavy, unnecessarily engineered e-bike with such a low range.
Also 20+ MPH killing machine made for idiots who can't ride properly.

They're not really anti porn because of it goes 20mph + it's a motor vehicle not a cycle. As Motor vehicles, I think they're great.

Exactly. But for cities they're kind of perfect, just too spenny for deliveroo riders

Indeed, closely looking it seems that the promo shot of two bikes reflect the different models (at least two). Honestly I don't mind them, but clearly these things have never been intended to be pedaled. Also seems like it wants some sort of cargo webbing "pouch" in the center cavity.

Also probably too moto-like to be systematically ignored by the plod in the way the bicycle-like motorcycles used by the majority of slave waiters are.

Here is one with more power and less lights from local marketplace a bit more worthy of anti I guess.

These fat bikes make me sad, they are super populair but very poor quality so they'll all end up at rubbish soon

Can someone explain the need for massive tyres for city use? Is a 2.5" tyre not up to the job?

No. People think they look cool? To be fair UK road surfaces are a total bag of shit absolutely everywhere so a bit of cush is good/essential.

slave waiters
I know a couple and it's actually a flexible decent paid job that uses quiet, clean transport for last mile deliveries, is great for small local businesses and beats working in effing Macdonald's or a ware house or a call centre etc

Remove the front brake and you've basically got something straight out of the early pages of the HHSB thread - funny how tastes change.
-
• #48192
You can get a proper Gazelle Bosch bike for those prices. This is a whack.

• #48193
O_o
Sure you're not an executive at a slave waiter company?
-
• #48194
Lol
The thing is, there's so many of them, Uber, getir, deliveroo, just eat, that folks move to the apps with better conditions for riders, so it's one jobs market with decent conditions. Not saying it's perfect mind. The pay is hardly amazing -

I’m not into bikes like that, but I could see that being a lot of fun if it had more seatpost…

I’d have to cover up the Wetherspoons branding though.
