Probably not the right place, but I 110% agree. Politicians have killed/hijacked the idea that democracy represents the people, they just offer us the same story under different colour rosettes to make us feel empowered. I hope you, younger people, will find a way to meaningfully take back control and achieve an effective outcome.

The Explorer looks great, did you cop the one that was on eBay? Quite different to my 16570 in size, gmt hand colour and is much more prominent, maxi dial etc but love that it’s obviously got the same lineage. Wear it in good health 👍

Yep, that’s the one - bought direct from the shop for £8,995, it’s a Jan ‘22, unworn and still has a few of the original stickers on the bracelet.

The use of the f91 as an IED timer certainly adds a layer to the piece

Everest have some expensive ones - £25-£30
Millenary Watches site link to amazon with what they believe are good bars.
The Wellfit look like a good match from the suggestion in the above link
18mm - not so cheap
20mm - not so cheap
22mm - cheap -

The spring popped out looking rusty AF so I'd say the Zuludiver ones aren't suitable for wearing in the sea, surprising given the name of the brand.
Who makes completely stainless steel ones? I'm not fussed about price any more since strength and longevity seems to be the priority for me.

One does not dive in a diver.
Actually I would prolly wear a rubber / metal strap over fabric / nylon.

Noted. I've got a bunch that came with cheap aliexpress straps but they feel so flimsy

But then, in the event of spring bar failure… you potentially lose the watch.

These ones say they're stainless but I haven't got any myself https://www.watchstrapworld.com/22-mm-spring-bars-1-7-mm-diameter-pair.html

Can you get Seiko fat bars to fit? I've never had an issue with those and my Seiko dive watches are in the ocean all the time

Does it have “pintime” hidden in the 7 numeral so we know it is genuine?

I can get the Explorer bracelet to be very slightly too tight, or with another link in, annoyingly loose. A half link would be ideal- does such a thing exist?
-
• #74272
Does it not have the easy-link adjustment?
You need (ideally) a good pair of spring bar tweezers, but you fold the last link at the clasp end over and there's a spring bar that you can squeeze together. Then there are three micro-adjust positions for it - you squeeze the spring bar and slide the link back and forth between the three sets of holes.

Like this (on my OP)

It should have the micro adjustment no? I get it fitted to be a little big with the adjustment out and then bring it in with the adjustment
