It would make more sense to do it after next season, when Jumbo stop their sponsorship. But they would still need to lose a few riders as they've got a total of thirty eight under contract in 2025, and the maximum a WT team can have is 30 riders (plus 2 extra neo-pros).

Why do they want to merge?
