I did my advanced course first two weeks on a vfr, third week on an early shape pan. Pans can really hustle along, always had a soft spot for them after that. Vfrs always felt like they got smaller and smaller as the years went on. We had a couple of the 750s at work but I always preferred the k1100rs we had as opposed to grabbing one of them.
