• Definitely the worst near miss I've had for years. There's a sign when you're going east west reminding people to look both directions before turning, but not when you're going west east (which this driver was doing). The bike lane is continuous, there are no markings or signs saying you need to give way to traffic turning across. If you're turning across a lane you need to check it's clear before proceeding.

    I guess my mistake is assuming people will follow the rules, esp when the signage/ infrastructure is anything less than 100% clear.
