Pretty tired! But I've tended to find chasing PBs on a track 5,000m gets more out of me and I've needed a proper lie down afterwards. 5k/10k training is quite refreshing after a marathon, just a different type of pain if raced properly.
@doubleodavey - I was close to 19 mins "chip time" at Dulwich recently, starting too far back and working my way through. So definitely a lot to come off but I'll work on it! :)
Nice, yeah looking forward to going after some shorter distance speed after this.
My current PB is 18:xx but that’s probably with something left in the tank - I’ve never managed to find the line of giving it everything without blowing up. Track sounds like a sensible place to try.
