  • A boat upholsterer?
I LIVE IN SE LONDON MATE.

  • Quiz some narrowboat owners.

  • On the Croydon Canal yeah?

  • That's the one. The Croydon to Brighton Navigation.

Oh hold on that might be the M23.

  • Maybe ask digger? He was doing lots of boat work a few years back.

  • Anyone in Bristol an e-Bullitt or two? There’s two on Facebook very cheap.

  • These are from Urb-It, a courier company, no? Likely to be ragged, from what I've heard.

  • Anyone got a 451 20” rim going spare? Or got a link for something fairly low budget

  • Long shot maybe, but if anyone has a canopy for a Bullitt then I’d love one :)

  • I've got an unused (but probably marked from storage) Alienation Ankle biter. It's got a machined sidewall and I think 28 holes.

  • You can ask Paradise Cycles for am OEM Omnium one. I can add it to next week's shipment.

  • I for one wish to see you in a wind tunnel on the Bullitt

I can’t help any more. They just demolished my one :(

  • Yeah, I think you’d get that one for £375 ;)
Seriously I’ve only heard good things. Kona’s normal decent build quality and a cargo bike for not too large a cargo. I believe they are still rated to carry 300lbs + rider.

  • Good bike but bear in mind you can't fit regular panniers.

  • very cool death trap

  • My brain can't handle that, you're gonna have to explain. Old Uni aero testing lab? Whats gonna happen to that fan? I'd love the stator/Rotor motor. Would make for an interesting experimentation.

  • As in its yours and that's what you're after, or the seller has confirmed that's what they'd take?

Biggest obstacles are the finance department and space. Although I have a ground anchor that I could use then store it in our side alley with a cover.

Also it's 20" and I'm 5'8" so Idk if it'd be a bit big. However, I'd really like to start taking my eldest to school by bike so am really tempted.

  • @hugo7 I have some ortlieb 2.1 pannier clips that fit the Kona Ute / minute rear rack if interested.

  • I work at a national lab and there were three old wind tunnels on site. I was the last one to work in the buildings so got quite familiar with them. They’ve been demolishing them to put up a new (unrelated) lab. That one in the picture was used by the McLaren F1 team in the 80s and 90s, who installed a rolling road. Power was actually still there when I was using the building but there were too many interlocks and I couldn’t quite figure out how to fire them up :(

The fans were about 3.5m diameter on 250kW motors. I thought about trying to take one out but it was always going to be a matter of what I was going to do with it and where the hell I could put it!

  • No not mine, but it’s been for sale for a while so think they would take a good offer.

  • As people use fans when on the turbo, you could have made a special feels like descending an alpine pass Fan?

  • Thanks for the tip. I have an old Minute frame in storage at my folks that I should probably do something with.
