• Just inform the police of what you are doing. Angle grinder will be fine IMO.

Wear a hi viz jacket and have someone in a hi viz and a clipboard watching you. No one will say anything.

  • Would anyone north london lend me a wheel building/ truing stand in a few weeks?

  • Anyone south east with a wheel truing stand please? Wondering why I ever sold mine : /

  • Yes I'm in N8 you can borrow mine whenever needed

  • Thanks mate, I will be in touch

  • Anyone got a headset removal tool and headset press I can borrow in SE London? It's for a 1" threaded headset if that makes any difference (gauge my level of expertise from this sentence).

  • I've gone on in SE11 you're welcome to come over and use/borrow.

  • Ah cool. That'd be great. I'm off on a brief holiday shortly, but if I could head over next week and borrow, it'd be much appreciated.

  • No problem, drop me a DM when you're ready.

  • Anyone have bearing removal tools? If you have a matching press to get them back in, even better!

Looking for both a 24mm and 30mm bearing extractor for Bottom Brackets. Open to buying budget options over the wheels manufacturing extractors, that run at £40 each.

  • I have basic FSA BB30 removal and install tools, as shown here. You're welcome to borrow.

  • I have a blind bearing puller kit, similar to this:

And a WheelsMFG bearing press, but not those particular drifts

  • ^ Great piece of kit that!

  • Yeah once you use one of those there's no going back.

  • Anyone got a chris king hub tool i could use pretty please? Could meet up in london or postage (id pay for postage and full insurance) dont mind paying some money for letting me use it

Will send money as a form of a deposit until i finish using it (2 days max)

If not anyone got any bike shop suggestions? Called around but no lbs seem to have one

  • I have. I'll send you a PM.

  • Anyone got an impact driver I could borrow for a few hours?

  • Whereabouts?

  • @Chak got one at work by heathrow if any good. Could take it home to Twickenham if easier from there

  • Big thanks to @se1derful for the loan of the headset removal tool/press. I now know more about headsets than I ever thought I'd want to and have a spare Campagnolo Chorus headset that appears to be JIS-sized going spare if anyone needs one.

  • @Jakub96 I got pissed off and used a blowtorch for ages then just scaffold piped it.
Really need to invest in an impact.

  • No worries man, at least you got a result 👍🏻

  • With a lot more sweat and swearing.

    I appreciate the offer btw.

  • Does anyone have a wheeled trolley jack, or wheel skates?
